How to get rid of stress and focus on how to be strong?
I remember back in uni I have always left things last minute. Yes, knowing the submission time was getting closer I get stressed but I find myself working in a way better than having all the time in the world. One day I read about how you can use your stress as a fuel and that information changed my whole way of seeing and feeling ‘stress’.
Now I enjoy the process of being stressed because somehow it turned me into a doer. when you’re stressed you’re more alert. You’re worried of forgetting something so you’re always remembering everything and keeping everything in check. Stress is a psychological pain. The more you’re mentally aware, the less you’re worried about being stressed. Because having the awareness about the reasons of what is causing you stress, you’ll know the solutions to it.
**Remind yourself that you are doing the best you can and you cannot go any further. Even if you failed doing something.. It’s ok…. Failing is a part of the process it’s not the end of it.
As long as you’re working and having something to deliver; be stressed. Once you’re done make sure you stop feeling stressed. This will take time but you’ll learn…. How to get rid of it when not working? Make sure to do what you like doing. Some paint, others read, some go for a walk? Find your thing and do that.
Take a breather. Celebrate your successes, even the small ones? finished a project? go out and have a nice dinner? Make sure to have the people you love and love you back around you. Know the fact that there is nothing perfect… Read more about that in my previous post ( Click Here)
Here are few quotes I chose to help inspire you…
“To achieve great things, two things are needed: a plan and not quite enough time.”
“I promise you nothing is as chaotic as it seems. Nothing is worth diminishing your health. Nothing is worth poisoning yourself into stress, anxiety, and fear.”
“If the problem can be solved why worry? If the problem cannot be solved worrying will do you no good.”
Now let’s talk Strength
Coming from a person who’s physically not strong. I tell you, this is why I have focused on being mentally strong at least….. And doing that you need to be a receiver of all sorts of information and have the ability to go through everything, even information that provokes you. Let yourself except all kinds of change without having the feeling of getting defensive. The more you are aware, the more you’re awake. Learn to stay calm under all circumstances and situations. To be strong means to be in control. And know that you can only control yourself. Nothing outside of you can be controlled by you…. Let this be you your motto. To become strong you need to challenge yourself; accept projects that you think you cannot achieve. You’ll be surprised when you realize you’re limitless and there isn’t anything you cannot do once you set your mind to it….

How to get over things?
The first thing you need to do is to sit alone in your comfort zone and breathe.
Now you need to remind yourself why those things happened. be familiar with the reasons… you cannot get over things as long as you’re not letting them go.
Go through them first, know why they happened and the more you’re consciously aware of the reasons the more capable you are of getting over them. You can always use your past memories as lessons and reminders than just some memories to feel the pain all over again. Let your negative experiences be a guideline of what not to do again..
How to get over disappointments?
The reason why we get disappointed is that we place all our expectations without a doubt in those who we care about. Yes, I have always thought since I am willing to go all the way for someone, they are supposed to be willing to do the same. But no! It doesn’t work that way. We cannot control anyone’s actions but ourselves. It is all about having yourself accept the fact that people will fail to meet your expectation. Having said that, put all your expectations 100% on you.
Life is all about the ups and downs. Let yourself be aware of this fact because once it is in your mind, you’ll go over the bad situations much smoother than you used to. Because you are expecting this; it’s no surprise.
The best thing I’ve done is that I stopped taking things personal. When someone hurt me or disappoint me I try to understand the situation from their perspective. If it can be solved I’d speak it out if not I’d just let it go. Some people aren’t meant to be around you. Especially those who keep disappointing you. Differences between love and crush?
Love is like the deep ocean and crushing over someone is like standing on the shore. You are probably obsessing over their looks/measurements/style…. Having a crush over someone is temporary it’s not like you can accept all their flaws and all. While on the other hand, loving someone is so deep that you can accept this person as a whole.
Crushing over someone is mainly physical attraction. But if you found yourself actually caring about them in different kinds of ways and levels, that’s more like love.
I cannot talk about love in few words or lines because this emotion itself it’s very deep. But I’ll put it that way, Liking someone is more about their non physical attributes. Anything other than that it’s just a temporary crush.
Why do I feel lonely while surrounded by people?
It has never been about the amount of people you’re around. It is more about the quality people you surround yourself with. I don’t know you but you might as well be an introvert and that is ok. I used to be an introvert all my teenage life until I forced myself out.
You could have your walls up and you’re not allowing anyone to come closer, so even if you’re close to people physically; you’re still distant.
Being always online and on social media it made it hard to keep your offline connection strong. Try to go offline for a while and connect with other people. Have some meaningful conversations. Let your alone time be chosen by you and not forced on you. There is a huge different between solitude and loneliness; one is healthy and the other isn’t.
Let someone close to you know how you feel. Even if we want to be lonely. We’re always seeking connection and closeness. Someone who can understand us without saying a word. Don’t ignore your feelings and think that they’ll fade away with time. Because loneliness is like the black hole.. You’ll keep getting deeper and deeper until you can’t find your way out.
