Trust the Timing of Your Life

“We’re so stressed out today because we believe everything needs to happen right now. We forget that everything happens in perfect timing.”

~ Idil Ahmed

Between what we have to do – assignments, assessments, appointments, schedules, to-do lists, and much more, and what we want to do – read, spend time with family and friends, be active, participate in various events, and much more, the results are not always so pleasant; it pushes us into a corner and clouds our minds. We want to get everything done at once and be on top of it all. I believe many of us have experienced a similar situation.

It’s part of our human nature to want to excel in all that we do, and the people, throughout history, that have been successful were the ones always pushing themselves, looking for a way to improve, a way to grow better and stronger; as James Champy said, “Big results require big ambitions.” – indeed they do. In order to achieve our ambitions, we need to be calm and grounded, ready to tackle whatever life might throw in our way, regardless of how challenging or difficult it may get.

So, this is a reminder to all of us out there going through frustration – doubting our choices and our capabilities: we have to trust the timing of our lives. We can worry, but worrying won’t change a thing; on the contrary, we’ll end up becoming anxious and disoriented. “Relax and trust the timing of your life. You will figure out your career. You will find the right relationship. You will become the person you always wanted to be. Just don’t forget to appreciate who you are now.” Everything will come to us at the right time; we just have to trust ourselves – we were made for this; “It’s all connected. Your gifts, your circumstances, your purpose, your imperfections; your journey, your destiny. It’s molding you. Embrace it.
