10 Human Regrets

I have always find it odd that people hold on to titles, money, social status.

With all my readings and things I have been through I believe within my heart that there aren’t much that will last with you…. But see, the people who love you and those who you share your love with, the memories you’ve made from all the things you thought you couldn’t do. Those are the things that would last a life time…

Those personal achievements… The times you fulfill your desires are the times that will last with you.

To be filled with joy, satisfaction and appreciation is when you truly genuinely be at service of others and help them in any way possible. This will last with you..

There are 10 human regrets on their last day…. Make sure you have none of those,,,,, Because you never truly know when is our last day. Our time is limited.. A fact that few understand and aware of…A lot of people are living as if they’re living forever.. focusing on things that are causing them stress, worries, depression and all kinds of mental diseases..

Joy and happiness aren’t things to be achieved. They are not goals to be reached. Joy is within you. You have it all along. It’s just a matter of uncovering the layers to finally feel it.

Those 10 regrets I got them from one of my favorite books of all times “The Leader Who Had No Title” That actually changed my way of thinking…

You find people waiting to have a certain title to be able to change the world. Where in fact you could do the change exactly where you are. It doesn’t matter what you do. Find reasons to fall in love with your job even if it was sweeping streets and start sweeping like Picasso’s painted.”

“If a man is called to be a street sweeper, he should sweep streets even as a Michael Angelo painted, or Beethoven composed music or Shakespeare wrote poetry. He should sweep streets so well that all the hosts of heaven and earth will pause to say, ‘Here lived a great street sweeper who did his job well.”

Whatever you do, do it with all your heart. Give it 100% of your focus, time and effort.

  1. You reach your last day with the brilliant song that your life was meant to sing still silent within you.
  2. You reach your last day without ever having experienced the natural power that inhabits you to do great work and achieve great things.
  3. You reach your last day realizing that you never inspired anyone else by the example you set.
  4. You reach your last day full of pain at the realization that you never took any bold risks and so you never received any bright rewards.
  5. You reach your last day understanding that you missed the opportunity to catch a glimpse of mastery because you bought into the lie that you had to be resigned to mediocrity.
  6. You reach your last day and feel heartbroken that you never learned the skill of transforming adversity into victory and lead into gold.
  7. You reach your last day regretting that you forgot that work is about being radically helpful to others rather than being helpful only to yourself.
  8. You reach your last day with the awareness that you ended up living the life that society trained you to want versus leading the life you truly wanted to have.
  9. You reach your last day and awaken to the fact that you never realized your absolute best nor touched the special genius that you were built to become.
  10. You reach your last day and discover you could have been a leader and left this world so much better than you found it. But you refused to accept this mission because you were just too scared.  And wasted a life.

After reading all those regrets you are probably agreeing to most of them… All of them…. Because I know I did. Those regrets listed above gave me a lot of reasons to actually start living in the now. A lot of reasons to change so many things in my life. My views on work, relationships, and myself.

Instead of wondering how my future will look like, or being hung on the past. I am here today… in this very moment writing this blog post.

I hope this blog post finds you well, I hope somehow it triggered something in you to realize that whatever that you do counts, no matter how small…. Whoever you are counts. Don’t let the titles fool you. Be the change you want to see in the world. Mahatma Gandhi

And make sure you go to bed everyday satisfied…. And fulfilled with gratitude.. And a realization that you did your best.
