Nobody is ever always happy.
Even if you see someone who is 24/7 happy. Best believe that some of that is “play pretend”. So spare yourself the time envying them and wishing you were in their shoes somehow, because you really don’t know what their journey is all about?
Yes some of you might be used to tucking yourselves in bed when you are sad. Or maybe actually push away everyone to be alone. Some of us would even go extra by playing some heart breaking music so they could actually live the pain with the background music? no?
There are a lot of things you could do that would take your mind off whatever that’s bothering you.
I’ll keep this short and neat as always.
- Take a walk
- Go to a place you haven’t been before(it will feel good I promise
- Go Bowling
- Drive a longer distance with feel good music on
- We all have that one or two persons we could talk to so call those people.. (your people)
- Engage your brain
- Research a topic and read about it. something that makes you think
- Read a good book
- Faking a smile will boost your spirit.
- Can I fix the problem?
- What am I really feeling and Why did I start feeling this way?
(Remember you are in total control of how you feel.. and people/situations are powerless without your reaction.)
⇒Remind yourself that it is a matter of time.
Whether it is happy times or sad times.
So don’t stress yourself way too much in things you cannot control.
Because if you could you would.(right?). Other than that being anxious is honestly a waste of both emotions… and energy.
Accept those feelings and live them. Avoiding them will only hurt you more.
It is ok not to be ok and it is really ok to feel sad sometimes
But know that this life is 100% your responsibility. Work hard to create an atmosphere that you don’t need a vacation from.
Especially those people around you; you don’t have to be friends with people who bring you down.
Energy is a serious thing that will either bring you up or take you down. With no words said.
