I don’t interview people out of the blue, as I have interviewed some before.
There has to be something that caught my attention.. A talent or their perspective on life.. etc
I have always wanted to make an interview with this young lady. Somehow, she reflects my edgy side. Her sense of style is everything. What amazed me about this girl is that she’s still in high school. So you can say she reminds me of myself somehow. Her name is Taiba and she is known by TheUrbanAnalyst
1- What makes you stand out?
If we’re talking literally, then my hair! I always have funky colors in my hair that you can spot from a mile away.
2- Name three products that you wish they never stop being produced
Whirl lip liner, silver shampoo, and the Anastasia BH contour palette. That was a lot harder than I though it would be.
3- Why Urban Analyst?
I’m very opinionated, so when I started my blog, I wanted to be able to share my thoughts on the things instead of just posting the ordinary status update. That’s where the “analyst” part comes in. “Urban” comes from my everyday life and the fact that I’m based in Kuwait. While blogging, I try to focus on representing a different side of the culture; a side that is not often seen or heard.
4 your favorite to go outfit:
If I had five minutes to pick out an outfit, I would go with classic black skinny jeans, a black turtle neck, and some sunnies. Anything black is my go-to, really.
5- What are you passionate about?
I’m passionate about everything I do. Mostly about fashion and the endless ways one can express their self. My passions motivate me to stay working hard.
6- What is your dream?
I’m still not one hundred percent sure. I just know that whatever I decide to do, whether it’s blogging right now or something else in the future- I’ve got to give it my all. I’ve got to be the best at what I do.
7-One of your proudest achievements
Covering London Fashion Week last season. That was a huge dream of mine for years and years. I remember this time a year or two ago, attending fashion week was only possible on the screen of my computer, and all else was just imaginary. The experience was really eye opening and gratifying. I actually shed a tear at the first show I attended haha.
8-What do you do in your free time?
I barely have any since I’m a high school student and it’s exam time at the moment (gag), but when I do, I mostly just chill with friends. Nothing too crazy.
9- Grey or Pink?
Pink! Pastel pink is actually one of my favorite hair colors that I’ve sported.
10- List three people that influence you and give me one reason why?
Courtney Love, Rihanna, and Amanda Stenberg. Three very different, but very unique and unapologetic women that endlessly inspire me.
