I was just watching TV until I got notified in receiving a comment from the lovely JustAHintOf. She Nominated me for the Blogger Recognition Award.
You have no idea how happy it made me feel.
Here is a brief overview of the rules if you are nominated- Full rules can be found originally on Edge of Night:
- Write a post to show off your award! Give a brief story of how your blog got started, and give a piece or two of advice to new bloggers.
- Select 15 other blogs you want to give the award to. Do some digging if you must! Find those blogs. You cannot nominate yourself or the person who has nominated you.
- Comment on each blog and let them know you’ve nominated them. Provide a link to the award post you created.
I believe I started ACoffeeShot last April. I used to have a poetry blog, which I started back in 2013. That blog was mainly dedicated for my poetry.
After two years of posting poems, I felt that I just needed to write about my point of views, interests about things that matter to me and that’s when This blog was born.
Dear new bloggers,
If you’re blogging mainly for viewers and your eyes are always on the statistics, you wont be doing much and you’ll be frustrated most of the time. As you will also give up way to early.
Make sure you find the topics that interests you. Write about things that matters to you. And always give your 100% in whatever that you’re doing. Sometimes you won’t get the comments or the likes but it’s ok. As long as you keep in mind the reason you started, you won’t get strayed.
It’s ok to write anything at all. You shouldn’t write what others are writing, you shouldn’t always follow the trends. It is ok to have your own different types of topics. I mean this is what makes you You. Your blog is like a reflection of you. Make sure that you reflect yourself the way you think you should.
